Custom Closets for Etobicoke Homes & Condos
Lakeshore towers, Kingsway classics, and post-war streets in between — Etobicoke's homes have character. Their closets usually don't. We can help.
From the Lakeshore to the Kingsway
Etobicoke runs the full range: gleaming condo towers along Humber Bay Shores, stately homes in The Kingsway and Islington Village, and street after street of solid post-war houses from Long Branch up to Rexdale. What ties them together is that almost none were built with the storage a modern household actually needs — and that's precisely the problem custom cabinetry solves.
Along the lakeshore, condo bedrooms typically offer one sliding-door closet and no obvious place for anything else. We design reach-in systems and wardrobes that use the full height of the wall — double hanging, deep drawer banks, and shelving up to the ceiling — so the closet can absorb what the dresser and the under-bed bins used to hold. Mirrored wardrobe doors are a favourite in these units: they hide a wall of storage while making the room feel twice as bright and twice as big.
In the older neighbourhoods, the houses were built beautifully but modestly closeted. A 1940s Kingsway bedroom might have a single shallow closet beside the chimney; a Long Branch bungalow might have two small ones for the whole house. We build around those quirks — angled ceilings, radiators, plaster walls — because every system is measured on site and manufactured to order in our own facility. Where a renovation opens up the layout, a wardrobe wall or a custom built-in can add storage that looks like it was always part of the house.
Condo residents can rest easy on logistics, too: our installers handle elevator bookings, floor protection, and building hours as a matter of routine, so the only thing your neighbours notice is the furniture dolly on installation day.
Our Concord showroom and workshop is about 25 minutes up the 427 from most of Etobicoke. Every project starts with a free in-home consultation — a designer measures, asks how you live, and returns a 3D design before anything is built. The whole journey is explained on our process page, and it's the same one we've refined over 35 years of serving the GTA.
